One year I decided I would take a picture of the lake every day to document the ways it changed day after day and season to season. These pictures are all taken from the same spot on a beach in the Rogers Park neighborhood of Chicago where I have lived for the last 7 years. I’ve kept this routine, though not always daily, for the last 5 years and the collection of images, as well as the meditative time spent enjoying the lake, has informed and inspired my pottery.
